Are you excited?

When you think about the next phase of your life (once God is finished with you on earth and calls you home), do you get excited? Does your mind leave the things of this world behind, awash with anticipation of the things to come? We can't possibly imagine exactly what it will be like, of course, but the details really don't matter.  It will be awesome! 

"But, as it is written,

'What no eye has seen, nor ear heard,
nor the heart of man imagined,
what God has prepared for those who love him'”— 1 Corinthians 2:9 (ESV) [refers back to Isaiah 64:4]

Whatever the heavenly life holds for us, there is one overriding reason to be giddy with excitement about being there, as David Jeremiah says: "that's where Jesus is!!!" Imagine our Lord Jesus standing at the right hand of the Father, saying "welcome home" to YOU! The thought of this should make your heart leap with joy, and give you great peace. See you there!
