My name's Ken Pontes. I was originally raised a Catholic. I eventually drifted away from that, beginning a many years-long search which took me down a variety of (errant) paths in search of the Truth (see my August 2007 article, God's Enemy, for the details). I finally found it, when Jesus Christ personally touched my heart. I'm now a non-denominational evangelical Christian, and a member of Grace Gospel Church in Swansea, Massachusetts. Besides my own studies, I am doing coursework at our affiliated school, the New England Bible Institute. Certainly, none of this makes me any kind of expert on God's Word, but I believe I have something to contribute here, as an instrument in "God's toolbox." It should be noted that nothing on this site should be considered as coming from, or officially sanctioned by either the church or the school, as I am doing this on my own. Having said that, I am making every effort to be as consistent with their teachings as I can. My source of Truth (and theirs) is the Holy Bible. Sola Scriptura!
